Job summary

Advantage Surgical and Wound Care is seeking a Part-Time Wound Care Specialist (1-2 days/week) to service the Dodge City, KS area. You will round at multiple facilities within a designated territory, delivering wound care at the bedside in post-acute settings.

The role targets NP/ARNP or PA candidates, with weekdays only commitments and no on-call, evenings, or weekend requirements. Comprehensive benefits and full administrative support are included.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active state professional license.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, paying attention to factors that increase wound formation risk.
• Collaborate with facility staff to ensure an effective wound care plan.
• Perform wound debridement and prescribe appropriate wound dressings.
• Educate nursing staff and maintain open communication with primary care physicians, families, and clinical teams.
• Order necessary medications and provide clear instructions for their use.
• Provide quality patient care to the geriatric patient population.

Advantage Surgical and Wound Care has an exciting opportunity for a Part-Time Wound Care Specialist (1-2 days/week) to work in the Dodge City, KS area. Qualified candidates will round at multiple facilities that are located within a designated territory. We are currently seeking Nurse Practitioners (NP or ARNP) and Physician Assistants (PA) to join our progressive medical practice.

Duties

• Weekday commitment: No call, evenings, or weekends
• Deliver wound care at the bedside in the post-acute care setting.
• Round daily at multiple facilities

Responsibilities
