Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in nursing, healthcare or related field.
Current RN license in state of practice or compact license.
BLS certification required.
Certification in wound/ostomy care, diabetic care, or pain management.
2–3 years of experience in the specialty area.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

Influence and improve patient outcomes through specialized nursing knowledge.
Provide specialty-focused nursing consultation on complex cases and recommend treatments.
Serve as a clinical resource to patients, families and staff to advance care quality.
Identify and support staff development and education opportunities.
Stay current on specialty developments and integrate findings into practice.
