Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have completed nursing program at an accredited college, university, or vocational school.
• Must have active RN/LVN license in Texas.
• Wound care certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide wound care and monitor wound healing, documenting progress.
• Communicate skin integrity changes to the DON and attending physician.
• Dress wounds and ensure timely dressing changes as prescribed.
• Record weekly skin assessments and participate in QA/care plan meetings.
• Participate in rotating nursing on-call schedule.
• Assist with other nursing functions as needed.
