Job summary

Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO, is seeking a Registered Nurse for wound care to manage wound assessment, treatment planning, and application of advanced therapies in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, ensure patient education, and uphold Mercy's standards and confidentiality. Patients receive compassionate care with a focus on healing and preventing complications, under a PRN, day-shift schedule with no weekends.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid RN license in the hiring state and meet licensure requirements.
• Graduate of an approved nursing program (ASN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Wound care experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Wound assessment and treatment planning for acute and chronic wounds.
• Apply advanced wound therapies and educate patients to promote healing.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments while maintaining rights and confidentiality.
