Job summary

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, an affiliate of Mass General Brigham, is seeking a Per Diem Wound Care RN to join our team. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

The role focuses on interpreting care plans, assessing nursing decisions, and delivering safe, individualized patient care across a group of patients. The position requires RN licensure, BLS certification, and at least one year of clinical nursing experience; wound care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing required or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience: Clinical nursing experience 1 year required. 2 years wound care experience preferred.
• Licenses: RN license – state required; Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, detailed reports, and records.
• Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions or side effects.
• Record patients’ medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients’ conditions.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
• Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients’ responses and conditions.
