Job summary
TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Tennessee seeks a Wound Care Registered Nurse to provide and coordinate wound care for patients. You will collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to support physical and psychological needs, develop individualized care plans, administer medications, document thoroughly, and educate patients and families.
The role emphasizes patient rounding to maximize satisfaction, age-appropriate care, and adherence to care standards while applying nursing
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year wound care experience.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
- Current licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing.
- Current BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient rounding to maximize satisfaction and quality standards.
- Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development and age-appropriate care.
- Promote customer service initiatives.
- Utilize nursing process for individualized care to meet patients' needs.
- Demonstrate ability to perform technical skills and procedures.
