Job summary

AVIR Health Group is seeking a qualified Wound Care Nurse to join our family and help maintain skin integrity while administering physician-prescribed treatments.

This full-time position offers a 6A-2P shift, Monday through Friday, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus for LVN roles and a comprehensive benefits package including daily pay, 401k with match, and health insurance for the whole family.

Walk-ins are welcome, and we value a team-oriented, patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas Nurse License.
• Valid CPR Certification.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a wound care capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related healthcare program.
• Education, training, experience, or certification in infection control and prevention.
• Must possess knowledge of long-term care operational standards as set forth in the Federal Register, Conditions of Participation and State regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain skin integrity and assess wounds as prescribed by physicians.
• Administer physician-prescribed wound care treatments.
• Ensure accurate documentation in accordance with professional standards.
