Staff Today Inc. seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) in Los Angeles, CA for a travel assignment. The rate is $32.94 per hour with a 40-hour workweek and a travel stipend package including lodging and incidentals.

Duties include wound care, IV therapy, medication administration, and patient education within an interdisciplinary team. Minimum qualifications include a BSN, CA RN license, BLS, and CWOCN/CWCN certifications.

Qualifications

• RN with wound care experience and ability to perform IV therapy.
• Active RN license in CA and BLS certification.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
• CWOCN or CWCN certification preferred/required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop care plans.
• Administer meds and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor progress and document assessments.
• Coordinate with physicians and care team.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses and care plans.
• Respond to changes in patient condition and emergencies.
• Perform wound care and IV therapy as required.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and EMR usage.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
