Rehabilitation Center of Orlando in Orlando, FL is seeking a compassionate Wound Care Nurse (RN) to provide expert wound and skin care to residents. This full-time role offers competitive pay and an interdisciplinary team focused on healing and quality of life.

Responsibilities include assessing wounds, creating care plans, educating residents and families, and ensuring accurate MDS documentation. Florida RN licensure and 2 years of nursing experience are required.

Qualifications

• Current, active Florida RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Wound care experience preferred.
• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience is a plus.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and monitor wounds and skin conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized wound care plans.
• Perform routine skin assessments and identify residents at risk for pressure injuries.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality resident care.
• Assist with applicable MDS documentation.
• Educate residents and families on wound care treatments.
• Recommend appropriate wound care products, dressings, and pressure-relieving devices.
• Monitor healing progress and maintain accurate documentation.
• Report concerns related to resident safety, abuse, neglect, or infection per facility policy.
