Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse with 3+ years of experience and at least 1 year in wound care. A wound care certification is highly preferred. The schedule is Monday–Friday with weekend coverage every 3–4 weeks; the team emphasizes safety, compassion and high-quality patient care within Memorial Hermann policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Treat and manage disorders of gastrointestinal, genitourinary and integumentary systems including ostomies, wounds and incontinence.
• Serve as clinical resource to staff on wounds, pressure ulcers, fistulas and incontinence.
• Establish and maintain practice standards and provide ongoing staff education.
• Deliver safe and appropriate care according to nursing skills inventory and patient needs.
• Coordinate nursing care with interdisciplinary team and guide clinical decisions.
