Job summary

Mercy Hospital Jefferson - Wound Care in Festus, MO is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to provide specialized wound care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. You will perform wound assessments, develop treatment plans, and educate patients to promote healing.

Qualifications include a nursing degree and an active RN license in Missouri with BLS. Wound care certifications are preferred but not required. Mercy offers strong benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (associate's degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in the hiring state and/ or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Wound care certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Wound assessment and treatment planning for acute and chronic wounds.
• Apply advanced wound therapies and educate patients for healing.
• Coordinate patient care with inpatient and outpatient teams.
• Evaluate effectiveness of care and adjust plans as needed.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
