Courtland Rehab and Healthcare Center is seeking an RN Wound Care Nurse to provide nursing care and wound management to residents in a long-term care setting. The role involves obtaining treatment orders, supervising staff, and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures to safeguard resident health.

The position emphasizes proactive wound prevention, education for staff, and collaboration with wound physicians and PCPs. RN licensure, CPR, and wound care proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• RN license required or valid state RN/LPN license.
• CPR certification required.
• Wound care certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform skin assessments and wound care per physician orders.
• Administer medications within scope of practice and document accurately.
• Supervise CNA and staff to ensure care plans are followed.
• Complete daily, weekly and ongoing wound care tasks and documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians for treatment plan adjustments and referrals.
