Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide wound care and apply the nursing process for patient care at the Southfork location in St. Louis, MO. This full-time, days shift runs Monday–Friday from 8:00a to 4:30p.

Minimum of 1 year wound care experience is required; candidates must maintain an active RN license in Missouri (or compact) and obtain BLS within 30 days of hire. The role emphasizes patient rights, confidentiality, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Position requires lifting up to 50 pounds and prolonged standing/walking.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintain professional accountability for care provided to assigned patients.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments.
• Evaluate overall effectiveness of care provided by direct caregivers.
• Protect patient rights and confidentiality according to Mercy standards.
