Job summary

Mercy is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Hyperbaric and Wound Care team at Southfork in St. Louis, MO. The role focuses on providing high-quality wound care, coordinating interdisciplinary patient care, and upholding patient rights and confidentiality.

The position is full-time, days, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. A minimum of 1 year in wound care is required, along with RN licensure in the state or a compact license and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments; maintains patient rights and confidentiality.
