Job summary

Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, AR is seeking a Wound Care RN for Nursing Administration. This full-time, days position reports to the Director of Nursing and focuses on enterostomal therapy, wound/ostomy/continence care, and related education.

Responsibilities include managing patient care, delegating duties, coordinating with medical staff, and ensuring safe, cost-conscious care. Requires AR RN license and BLS/CPR; wound care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical or Associate's degree in nursing required. Bachelor’s in Nursing preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BLS/CPR required upon hire or prior to patient care.
• Current Arkansas Registered Nurse License.
• Certification in wound, ostomy, and continence nursing preferred.
• This is a safety sensitive position.
• Basic proficiency in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
• Adequate verbal and written communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Capacity to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, oversee quality of care for an assigned patient caseload.
• Delegate duties appropriately and direct staff in delivery of care.
• Collaborate with medical staff in provision of care and resource utilization.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Consult, assess, plan, evaluate, and provide enterostomal therapy nursing services and education.
• Manage patients with stoma, pressure, vascular, and diabetic ulcers; wounds and fistulas; incontinence care for inpatients.
