Job summary

Trinity Health Mercy Care Atlanta is seeking a Wound Care Registered Nurse to provide specialized assessment, treatment, and management of wounds in ambulatory care settings. You will deliver evidence-based wound care, educate patients, and coordinate care to promote healing and prevent complications.

Responsibilities include wound assessments, dressing selection, debridement, and collaboration with physicians, podiatrists, nutritionists, social workers, and community partners to optimize

Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license.
• Minimum two years of clinical nursing experience, including wound care.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Experience with electronic health records.
• Strong communication, education and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive wound assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Provide dressing selection, wound monitoring, and debridement within scope.
• Manage wounds including ulcers and surgical/traumatic wounds.
• Collaborate with physicians, podiatrists, nutritionists, social workers and community partners.
• Educate patients and caregivers on prevention, self-care and nutrition.
• Maintain accurate electronic records and support quality improvement.
