Job summary

Universal Hospital Services Inc. is seeking a registered nurse with BSN to coordinate comprehensive wound assessments, develop plans of care, and evaluate patient outcomes across the organization.

The role includes patient and family education on wound management, prevention of pressure ulcers, and therapies, while serving as a resource for physicians and the wound care team. General nursing duties with supervision and QA participation are included.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN.
• Current state Registered Nurse Licensure.
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in medical/surgical, rehabilitation nursing.
• CWOCN or CWCN preferred.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate wound assessments and plan of care for patients across the organization.
• Educate patients, families and staff on wound management and prevention strategies.
• Act as a resource for physicians and clinical staff; participate in performance improvement.
