Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel is seeking a Wound Program Coordinator to oversee wound care services and coordinate interdisciplinary efforts to improve patient outcomes. The role involves guiding clinical teams, educating patients and families, and driving hospital-wide wound care initiatives.

Qualifications

• RN, PT, or OT licensure is required for acute rehab hospitals; RN is required for long-term acute care hospitals.
• CPR certification is mandatory.
• Minimum one year of wound care experience is required.
• Continuous wound care education through seminars/professional organizations is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and develop wound care services in line with regulatory standards and physician orders.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to provide guidance on wound care treatments.
• Lead educational efforts for hospital staff on wound care topics and educate patients and families.
• Maintain ongoing education and stay updated on the latest wound care techniques.
