Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel seeks a Wound Program Coordinator to drive wound care excellence and ensure regulatory compliance across the program. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement treatment plans and educate patients and families.

You will lead ongoing wound care education, stay current with new techniques, and contribute to hospital-wide improvement initiatives in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• RN/PT/OT licenses required for acute rehab hospitals; RN required for long-term care.
• CPR certification mandatory.
• Minimum one year of wound care experience.
• Ongoing education in wound care through seminars or professional organizations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and develop wound care services in accordance with regulatory standards and physician orders.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to provide guidance on wound care treatments.
• Lead educational efforts for hospital staff on wound care topics and educate patients and families.
• Maintain continuous education and stay updated on the latest wound care techniques and advancements.
