Job summary

Skilled Wound Care seeks a Plastic Surgeon in Jackson, MS to lead wound care initiatives across skilled nursing facilities. The role offers a no-call schedule, versatile full-time or part-time options, and per-patient/per-procedure pay with bonus programs.

You will perform debridement, wound evaluation, and bedside procedures with autonomy, and benefit from integrated wound care training and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) is required.
• Unrestricted medical license in the practicing state (Mississippi) or eligibility to obtain one.
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• No prior wound care experience required; comprehensive wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical and sharp debridement and bedside procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Apply advanced dressings and wound protocols.
• Collaborate with care teams in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings.
