Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking Acute Care Surgeons in Jackson, MS to lead wound care initiatives in SNFs across the area. Enjoy a no-call weekday schedule while maintaining surgical skills through bedside debridement and procedures.

Full-time or part-time options available with competitive earnings, ranging from $250,000 to $500,000 per year for full-time, plus training and support to advance your clinical autonomy.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in the practicing state (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background welcomed; wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Use latest wound-healing advancements to improve patient outcomes.
• Perform surgical and bedside debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing, and complex wounds.
• Apply advanced dressings and wound protocols.
• Collaborate with staff in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute care.
