Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Rockville, MD is seeking Wound Care Physicians to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. The role offers a true Monday–Friday schedule with no on-call, full- or part-time options, and comprehensive wound care training.

You will perform debridement, manage chronic wounds, use advanced dressings, and collaborate across facilities, enjoying autonomy and streamlined documentation through our custom software.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility)
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one
• Open background; training provided; residency and board certification not required

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings, following patients through healing
