Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Rockville, MD is seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This no-call, no-nights role offers a Monday–Friday daytime schedule and the opportunity to focus on procedural care and patient outcomes.

You will apply your emergency medicine expertise to wound debridement, advanced dressings, and collaborative care, with comprehensive wound care training provided.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings, following patients through healing.

Education

Medical Degree: MD or DO
