Job summary
AmeriWound Physicians VT seeks a Wound Care Physician in Burlington, VT. Part-time (2-3 days/week), Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm, with no evenings, weekends, or on-call duties. Ambulatory rounds across facilities with an assigned nurse and APRIMA EMR access.
Compensation includes uncapped W-2 earnings proportional to activity, with projected annual ranges for full-time providers; mileage reimbursement and malpractice coverage provided. Join a patient-focused team in a supportive environment.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree required.
- Board certification or eligibility required.
- Active, unrestricted medical license.
- DEA license holder.
- Valid driver license.
- Strong EMR documentation and attention to detail.
- Ability to build rapport with facility staff and patients.
Responsibilities
- Round weekly at assigned facilities within territory.
- Diagnose conditions via physical exam or telemedicine.
- Perform procedures such as debridement as needed.
- Communicate findings with facility staff and patients.
- Document each encounter in APRIMA EMR and maintain records.
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals.
