Job summary

AmeriWound Physicians NJ, LLC is hiring for Wound Care Physician and Advanced Practice Provider roles across Rahway, New Brunswick, Wayne and Teaneck, NJ. Weekly rounds occur Monday through Friday, with no evenings or weekends.

Part-time (2-3 days/week) with potential growth to full-time, offering uncapped W-2 earning potential based on patient encounters and clinic coverage. Providers receive dedicated nursing support, a company laptop, EMR APRIMA, malpractice coverage, mileage reimbursement,

Qualifications

• MD/DO/PA/CRNP with active license
• Board Certified/Board Eligible
• Active, unrestricted state medical license
• DEA license
• Valid driver license
• Strong EMR documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Round weekly at assigned wound care clinic within territory.
• Diagnose patient conditions via physical examination and/or telemedicine.
• Physical demands: standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Perform medical procedures such as debridement as necessary.
• Communicate with facility staff on findings and treatments.
• Document each encounter in EMR (APRIMA).
• Facilitate referrals to other providers and facilities as needed.

Wound Care Physician, Advanced Practice Provider – Rahway, New Brunswick, Wayne and Teaneck, NJ

No Wound Care experience required - Training Provided! Hyperbaric Training and Certification Provided!

Position Highlights:

• Weekly Rounding: Monday-Friday ~8am-12pm or 1pm-5pm
• No evenings, weekends, or call.
• Part-Time (2-3 days/week) with potential growth to Full-Time (4-5 days/week)
• Uncapped W-2 earning potential, directly proportionate to provider availability, EMR documentation, number of patient encounters per month, number of facilities covered, etc. ($200k-$215k annually projected for Full-Time Physicians and $170k-$180k annually projected for Full Time Providers)
• Instruments provided by AmeriWound, such as, debridement kits & hurricane spray.
• Dedicated nurse to round with at wound care clinic.
• Company laptop provided w/ EMR Aprima.
• Malpractice provided for both full and part-time providers.
• Mileage reimbursement based on standard IRS guidelines.
• We serve as your office and administration so you can spend more time with your family!

Responsibilities:

• Round weekly at assigned wound care clinic within territory.
• Diagnose patient conditions via physical examination and/or telemedicine.
• Physical Demands: Standing and walking for long periods of time, bending, kneeling, proximal and distal dexterity, lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Perform medical procedures i.e., debridement as necessary.
• Communicate and collaborate on findings and treatments with facility clinical staff.
• Communicate information to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals.
• Document each patient encounter in EMR - APRIMA and maintain patient medical records on company assigned laptop computer.
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities as necessary.

Qualifications:

• MD, DO, PA, CRNP.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible.
• Active, unrestricted state medical license.
• DEA license.
• Valid driver license.
• Ability to build and maintain rapport with facility staff and patients.
• We require a high degree of technical skill utilizing software, including proficiency documenting EMR w/ strong attention to detail.
