Vohra Wound Physicians in Abingdon, VA is seeking a full-time Infectious Disease Physician to join a national wound care group. The role focuses on bedside wound management with no nights, no call, and no weekend duties.

You will train with wound-certified physicians and fellowship directors, visiting facilities within a 40–60 mile radius and conducting rounds daily. A 45-hour week is typical for full-time staff, with paid onboarding and ongoing wound care fellowship support.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.

Responsibilities

• Full-time work: Monday–Friday (7am–4pm) or part-time available.
• No call and no weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Deliver modern wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Mobile practice visiting facilities within a 40–60 mile radius.
• Treat approximately 20–30 patients per day.
• Real-time clinical documentation using the proprietary wound EMR.
• Paid training onboarding plus 6-month wound care fellowship.
• W2 employment contract (no work visa sponsorship).
