Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Newark, NJ seeks a Wound Care Physician to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This no-call, Monday–Friday role offers a clear boundary between work and personal time and a possibility for part-time arrangements alongside full-time duties.

The position provides hands-on procedures, clinical autonomy, and the chance to manage complex wounds while enjoying generous compensation and a supportive, award-winning workplace culture.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, where you follow patients through healing.
