Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Stockton, CA is seeking a Wound Care Physician to join our no-call, weekday-focused practice. We offer full-time or part-time options with no nights, no weekends, and a flexible schedule aligned to your preferences.

You will perform wound care, debridement and other bedside procedures with comprehensive training provided. Applicants should hold an MD or DO, possess an unrestricted license in California (or eligibility), and be open to treating patients in skilled nursing

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in state of practice, or eligible to obtain one.
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• We welcome physicians from all specialties; residency and board certification are not required.
• No prior wound care or procedural experience is required; comprehensive training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, where you follow patients through healing
