Job summary

UNC Health Care in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Director to lead the inpatient and outpatient Wound Care Programs at Rex Raleigh and related nursing support areas, including VARN and dialysis. You will be responsible for operations, staffing, budget, reimbursement, quality, patient experience, and marketing and sales initiatives to grow the program.

The role requires strategic leadership, staff development, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with hospital leadership to ensure high-quality care

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing is required.
• Registered Nurse license in NC required.
• Certification from an accredited program is required.

Responsibilities

• Directs budgeting and resource allocation for wound care programs.
• Develops master staffing plans across areas including VARN and dialysis.
• Oversees quality metrics, patient experience, and performance improvement.
• Leads marketing and sales activities to promote wound care services.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and accreditation readiness.
• Recruits, hires, and develops nursing staff; conducts evaluations.
