Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum 1 year wound care experience in a hospital, SNF, or related healthcare setting.
• Education, training, experience, or certification in infection control and prevention.
• Knowledge of long-term care standards as set forth in federal/state regulations.

Qualifications for Wound Care Nurse:

• Valid Texas Nurse License.

• Valid CPR Certification.

• Minimum of one year of experience in a wound care capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related healthcare program.

• Education, training, experience, or certification in infection control and prevention.

• Must possess knowledge of long-term care operational standards as set forth in the Federal Register, Conditions of Participation and State regulations.
