Job summary

RestorixHealth in Metairie, LA, is seeking a Wound Care Nurse (LPN) to join our team. You will be trained on the job and provide patient care using the Nursing Process, collaborating with other disciplines on the unit to achieve optimal outcomes.

As a licensed practical nurse, you will implement physician orders, monitor patient status, and intervene as conditions change, prioritizing actions to meet patient needs and expected outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Prior experience working with wound care patients preferred (Will train).
• Experience with billing and coding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care based on nursing principles and evidence-based practice.
• Implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames.
• Recognize change in the patient’s condition and intervene appropriately.
• Prioritize nursing actions including reflecting patient needs, acuity, and desired outcome.
