Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current Indiana license.
• Experience in wound care preferred.
• Certification in wound, ostomy, and continence (WOC) nursing or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized wound care plans for patients, utilizing evidence-based practices and protocols.
• Conduct thorough assessments and treatments for wound care, including debridement, dressing changes, and wound cleansing.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
• Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on wound care techniques and self-management strategies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and reduce readmissions.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and wound assessments.
