Job summary

CCH Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Wound Care Nurse (RN/LPN) for a Full-Time position in Hickory, NC. The role focuses on assessing, treating, and managing wounds and collaborating with interprofessional teams to provide high-quality patient care.

The position requires an active RN or LPN license in North Carolina (or compact) and preferably a Wound Care Certification. Experience in wound care within long-term or acute care settings is valued.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in North Carolina or compact state.
• Wound Care Certification (WCC, CWON, CWOCN, or similar) preferred.
• Experience in wound care, long-term care, or acute care preferred.
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and monitor wounds, pressure ulcers, and other skin conditions.
• Develop and implement wound care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Educate staff, patients, and families on wound prevention and care.
• Administer appropriate treatments, dressings, and interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of wound care procedures and progress.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and infection control guidelines.
