Qualifications & Experience Requirements

• Must possess a current RN or LPN license in the state where the center is located. Wound Certification is preferred.
• Current CPR certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Prior healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience in treatment nursing care is desirable.
• Supervisory experience, preferably in a long-term care setting, is a plus.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform treatments, dressing changes, ointments, sprays, lotions, etc., following center policies on privacy, infection control, and physician’s orders.
• Perform routine replacements of gastric tubes and Foley catheters as assigned.
• Perform trach care and suctioning.
• Document treatment recommendations weekly in nurse notes, skin grids, pressure sore reports, or other required documents.
• Suggest treatment procedures or products to attending physicians.
• Reorder treatment supplies as needed from pharmacy or central supply.
