Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital Richmond is seeking a Wound Care Nurse Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, on-site role in Richmond. The position offers a competitive hourly compensation, a $15,000 sign-on bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package as part of a supportive career growth program.

Qualifications

• ADN required with active RN license.
• At least 1 year of related RN experience.
• BLS certification by start date and wound care training within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Preserve skin integrity by implementing monitoring strategies.
• Oversee wound and skin care protocols approved by medical staff.
• Organize weekly multidisciplinary wound and skin rounds for high-risk patients.
• Provide hands-on wound care for difficult or non-healing wounds.
• Serve as a resource to hospital staff on wound and skin care.
• Ensure all regulatory requirements are met.

Compensation: $42.50 - $56.68 per hour

Minimum Qualifications

• AD (Associate's degree in Nursing) required.
• One (1) year of related experience required.
• Valid State RN License.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Must complete wound care training in the first 90 days in the role.

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
