Major Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between Wound Specialist Physician and nursing staff.
• Participate in Wound Care Program development and achievement.
• Staff development and educational programming.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for wound healing care.
• Provide direct resident care, assessment, treatment, and follow-up for wound management.
• Implement individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain communication with physicians and assist regulatory compliance efforts.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of healthcare systems and processes.
• On call days are required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; current Wound Care and CPR certifications.
• Minimum 1 year of Wound Care experience (2 years preferred).
• Active, unencumbered RN or LPN license in the state of practice.
• Qualities: compassionate, dedicated, and qualified.
