Job summary

Medical Director Services PC is seeking a Part-Time Wound Care NP/PA to service a skilled nursing facility in Trenton, NJ. The role offers competitiveness commensurate with experience and opportunities for growth.

The candidate will manage wounds, assist with admissions, and collaborate with care teams to maintain high standards of patient care. Prior LTAC experience and certification in wound care are preferred, with strong MS Office and communication skills essential.

Qualifications

• Active NP/PA license in the relevant state.
• Wound and ostomy certification required.
• Long-Term Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all open wounds in the facility, including cleaning and dressing.
• Complete admission paperwork.
• Provide advice and support to the Residents and their families.
• Monitor Residents and administer medications and treatments.
• Document Resident care services by charting in Resident & dept. records.
• Protect Residents & staff by adhering to infection-control policies & protocols.
• Resolve Resident problems & needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.
• Assure quality of care by adhering to Facility philosophies & standards of care.
• Maintain Resident confidence by keeping information confidential.
• Track infection control and reporting (monthly).
