Job summary

Korzen Health is seeking a full-time Traveling Nurse Practitioner to provide coverage to Healogics Wound Care Centers in Chicago, IL and surrounding areas. The role supports a broad wound care program with emphasis on advanced treatments and patient healing.

The position requires active DEA and state licensure, plus 1 year of NP experience and recent wound care/debridement experience. Travel to multiple centers is expected with day shifts and potential for leadership growth.

Qualifications

• Must have clear and active DEA and state license.
• 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience completed.
• Must have recent Wound Care/Debridement experience.

Responsibilities

• Full team support includes Case Manager, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Nurses, Office Manager, and Front/Back End Support.
• Provide advanced wound-care treatments to promote healing, including wound cleansing and dressing.
• Standard work hours are daytime hours averaging around 40 hours per week; there are no night shifts, on-call responsibilities, holiday hours, or weekend hours.
• There is opportunity for growth into leadership positions

For over 25 years, Healogics has been treating patients with chronic wounds from over 600 hospital-based wound care centers across the country. Currently, Healogics treats over 300,000 wound care patients annually and has healed nearly 4 million wounds. Healogics is the worlds leading expert in wound healing.

Scope of Practice Highlights

• Full Team support includes Case Manager, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Nurses, Office Manager, and Front/Back End Support.
• We offer advanced wound-care treatments to promote healing, including: cellulitis therapy, compression therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, infection management and prevention, wound cleaning, and wound dressing.

Experience Requirements

• Must have clear and active DEA and state license.
• 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience completed
