Job description

Care New England, a fully integrated health system serving residents throughout Rhode Island, is seeking a part-time (28 hours per week) wound and ostomy nurse practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team at the Wound Recovery and Hyperbaric Medicine Center, located on the Kent Hospital campus in Warwick, RI.

Highlights

• Join a team of two physicians providing outpatient and inpatient care
• Part-time daytime work hours with weekend rotation (Flexible hours)
• Average of 8 patients per day plus consults
• Patient ostomy and nursing wound/ostomy teaching
• Inpatient wound care and ostomy consults at Kent Hospital and Women & Infants Hospital
• Outpatient care pre- and post-surgery
• Recent wound and ostomy experience required.
