Wound Care Nurse- Registered Nurse RN or Licensed Practical Nurse LPN

As a Wound Care nurse, you will work under the supervision of a nurse practitioner and be responsible for direct patient care through the assessment, treatment, and management of wounds. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Wound Care Nurse- Registered Nurse RN or Licensed Practical Nurse LPN Responsibilities:

• Perform wound assessments, including measurement, staging, and documentation.
• Assist in the development and implementation of wound care plans.
• Provide wound care treatments according to provider orders and established protocols.
• Educate patients and their families on wound care techniques and preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records, including documentation of wound assessments and treatments.
• Monitor and evaluate the progress of wound healing.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive wound care.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
  
  
  

Wound Care Nurse- Registered Nurse RN or Licensed Practical Nurse LPN Requirements:

• Registered RN or LPN
• Certified Wound Specialist (CWS)/Certified Wound Care Associate (CWCA)/Certified Wound Care Technician (CWCT) is preferred.
• Previous experience in wound care or healthcare setting is preferred.
• Basic understanding of wound care principles and techniques.
• Reliable means of transportation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
