Job summary

The Greens at Pinehurst is seeking a compassionate LPN or RN wound care nurse to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. You will focus on wound management, skin integrity, prevention, and improving resident outcomes through hands-on clinical care.

In this role, you will assess wounds, document progress, educate residents and families, and collaborate with physicians and leadership to implement individualized care plans while maintaining meticulous clinical records.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina LPN or RN license.
• Wound care experience required.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Dependable, organized and compassionate.
• Passion for high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document wounds and skin conditions.
• Perform wound care and treatments per physician orders.
• Track wound progress and note changes in condition.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, and care team.
• Develop and update individualized wound care plans.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on prevention and skin integrity.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Support infection prevention and regulatory compliance.
• Help implement preventative measures for residents at risk.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Active, unencumbered North Carolina LPN or RN license
• Previous wound care experience
• Long-term care experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork
• Dependable, organized, and compassionate
• A passion for providing high-quality resident care
