Job summary

RestorixHealth in Florida is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our wound care team and provide patient care based on nursing theories, while following physician orders and collaborating with RNs to achieve optimal outcomes.

This role includes ongoing training and competitive compensation. Wound care experience is preferred, and RestorixHealth will provide training to develop the necessary skills.

Qualifications

• CPR certification from American Heart Association is required.
• Experience with wound care patients preferred (training provided).
• Billing and coding experience preferred.

Licensed Practical Nurse

Our Wound Care Nurses (will train) are the heart and soul behind what we do. Utilizing the Nursing Process, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plans, implements, directs, and evaluates patient care to achieve optimal outcomes. The Wound Care Nurse works collaboratively with all other disciplines on the assigned unit. Our LPN jobs provide routine care for the sick or injured while working in conjunction with Registered Nurses. Ongoing training will provide you with the tools to be successful in your role.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide patient care based on scientific principles/nursing theory and evidence-based practice
• Implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames

• Prioritize nursing actions including reflecting patient needs, acuity, and desired outcome

Qualifications:

• Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association required
• Prior experience working with wound care patients preferred (Will train)
