Job summary

RestorixHealth in Encinitas, CA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our wound care team. The LPN plans, implements, directs and evaluates patient care using the Nursing Process and collaborates with all disciplines on the unit.

Ongoing training will provide you with the tools to be successful, and CPR certification is required. Experience with wound care and billing/coding is preferred, with opportunities for career growth within our nationwide wound care network.

Qualifications

• Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Prior experience working with wound care patients preferred (Will train).
• Experience with billing and coding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care based on scientific principles/nursing theory and evidence-based practice
• Implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames
• Recognize change in the patient’s condition and intervene appropriately
• Prioritize nursing actions including reflecting patient needs, acuity, and desired outcome

Utilizing the Nursing Process, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plans, implements, directs, and evaluates patient care to achieve optimal outcomes. The Wound Care Nurse works collaboratively with all other disciplines on the assigned unit. Our LPN jobs provide routine care for the sick or injured while working in conjunction with Registered Nurses. Ongoing training will provide you with the tools to be successful in your role.
