Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of LPN/RN program and valid nurses license.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Wound assessment under the supervision of the nursing and wound care team.
• Perform routine and complex wound dressing changes according to the care plan and under supervision.
• Maintain aseptic technique during wound care procedures.
• Regularly monitor skin integrity of residents at risk of wounds.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement preventive measures.
• Educate residents and families on wound prevention strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of wound care interventions and outcomes.
