Job summary

Bradley Estates Nursing and Rehab in Milwaukee is seeking a Wound Care Nurse to support our senior residents. You will administer wound treatments, educate families, and promote speedy recovery with compassionate care.

We value teamwork, excellent communication, and adherence to safety guidelines. The ideal candidate holds a Wisconsin nursing license and has 1–2 years of wound care experience, with a dedication to maintaining residents’ dignity and comfort.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years wound care nurse experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Wisconsin nursing license.

Responsibilities

• Administer treatments and procedures per physician orders.
• Ensure residents are medicated prior to treatments when appropriate.
• Orient residents and families to the wound care process upon admission.
• Observe and document resident responses to treatment weekly or as needed.
• Ensure adequate levels of wound care supplies and equipment are available.
• Maintain resident privacy and dignity; uphold resident rights.
• Report incidents of abuse or rights violations to the Administrator.
• Report injuries of unknown origin to Floor Nurse and Director of Nursing.
