The Waters in Springfield, TN is seeking a dedicated Wound Care Nurse (RN or LPN) to join our clinical team. This role focuses on thorough wound assessment, evidence-based treatment planning, and patient education for acute and chronic wounds.

Qualifications

• Current RN or LPN license in TN
• Wound care certification (WCC, CWCN, or similar) preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide advanced wound care, including dressing changes, debridement (if within scope), and infection prevention
• Document assessments, interventions, and progress accurately and promptly
• Educate patients, families, and staff on wound prevention and care techniques
• Participate in care planning, quality improvement initiatives, and interdisciplinary meetings
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and best-practice standards

Position: Wound Care Nurse (RN or LPN)

About the Role We’re seeking a skilled and compassionate Wound Care Nurse to join our clinical team. This role is ideal for a nurse who excels in assessment, treatment planning, and patient education related to acute and chronic wounds. You’ll collaborate closely with providers, interdisciplinary team members, and caregivers to ensure high-quality, evidence-based wound care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized treatment plans

• Provide advanced wound care, including dressing changes, debridement (if within scope), and infection prevention
