AVIR Health Group is seeking a qualified Wound Care Nurse to join our family for weekend coverage. The role focuses on maintaining skin integrity, administering physician-prescribed wound treatments, and ensuring accurate documentation in line with professional standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas Nurse License.
• CPR Certification.
• Minimum of one year wound care experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related healthcare program.
• Education, training, experience, or certification in infection control and prevention.
• Knowledge of long-term care operational standards as set forth in federal and state regulations.

The primary purpose of this role is to maintain skin integrity, administer physician-prescribed treatments, and ensure accurate documentation in accordance with professional standards.

Qualifications for Wound Care Nurse:

• Valid Texas Nurse License.
