Job summary

Mont Marie Rehabilitation is seeking a Wound Care Nurse to deliver skilled wound care within a compassionate, resident-centered team. You will assess, treat, and document wounds, support interdisciplinary care planning, and ensure compliance with clinical standards.

We offer Full-time, part-time, and PRN options, competitive hourly pay from $35–$45, daily pay, and generous benefits. MA-licensed RNs or LPNs with BLS are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active MA LPN or RN license.
• Wound care certification strongly preferred but not required.
• Valid BLS CPR certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of wound care experience in a nursing home or long-term care setting.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care in accordance with nursing standards, physician orders, and care plans.
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment in assessing, treating, and monitoring wounds.
• Provide wound care treatments based on resident needs and best practices.
• Deliver compassionate, person-centered care to residents, families, and caregivers.
• Provide clinical guidance to nursing and care team members.
• Maintain accurate documentation of wound assessments, treatments, and outcomes.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance for resident information.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support healing and prevention strategies.

Responsibilities for Wound Care Nurse:

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable nursing standards, physician orders, and established care plans.

• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment in assessing, treating, and monitoring wounds.

• Provide wound care treatments based on resident needs and best clinical practices.

• Deliver respectful, compassionate, and person-centered care to residents, families, and caregivers.

• Provide clinical guidance and direction to members of the nursing and care team.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of wound assessments, treatments, and outcomes.

• Ensure resident confidentiality is maintained at all times in accordance with HIPAA and facility policies.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support healing, prevention strategies, and continuity of care.

Qualifications for Wound Care Nurse:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active LPN or RN license in the state of MA.

• Wound Care Certification strongly preferred but not required.

• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.

• Minimum of 2 years of prior experience as a Wound Care Nurse in a nursing home or long-term care setting required.

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
