Qualifications

• Valid Texas RN license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum of one year of wound care experience in hospital, SNF, or related healthcare setting.
• Education, training, or certification in infection control and prevention.

Responsibilities

• Maintain skin integrity and administer physician-prescribed wound care treatments.
• Ensure accurate documentation in medical records and adherence to professional standards.

Qualifications for Wound Care Nurse:

• Valid Texas Nurse License.

• Valid CPR Certification.

• Minimum of one year of experience in a wound care capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related healthcare program.

• Education, training, experience, or certification in infection control and prevention.

• Must possess knowledge of long-term care operational standards as set forth in the Federal Register, Conditions of Participation and State regulations.
