Job summary

Woundtech in Houston, TX is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to perform home visits for wound care management in the Southwest Houston area. The role includes documenting visits promptly and collaborating with supervising physicians.

The ideal candidate has NP or PA certification, 1–3 years of advanced practice experience, and the ability to practice autonomously with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate NP degree or PA degree from accredited program.
• National certification as NP or PA required; wound care cert preferred.
• 1-3 years’ experience at advanced practice level.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on patient care during home visits.
• Perform wound debridement by sharp, enzymatic, autolytic or surgical methods.
• Apply topical wound care and manage products.
• Recommend related services to improve healing.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and follow up accordingly.
• Educate patients and inform PCPs about wound care practices.
